Steele Jackson is from Auburn, Alabama. He graduated from Beauregard High School in Opelika, Alabama in 2008. After graduation, Steele attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama from 2008-2009. He has an Music Education-AA Degree from Pensacola State College and currently a senior the University of West Florida where he is majoring in ESE/ESOL/Reading/Elem. Education.


Steele is starting is 2nd year as Director of NWFI and his 4th year as the Guard Director at West Florida High School in Pensacola, FL.  Before he came to West Florida High School, he was the Guard Instructor at Pine Forest High School in 2011-2012. Steele has also choreographed for  Bay Breeze Winterguard,  Bay High School Million Dollar Color Guard in 2011, and Davidson High School Color Guard in 2014. He is very excited to start his 2nd year as Director of Northwest Florida Independent Open Winterguard.

Leeanne Bass is a junior at the University of South Alabama and is studying civil engineering. She marched Murphy High School 2007-2009 (fall and winter) Teal Sound: 2009, 2011. USA: 09-12 NWFI: 2014 and has taught at  Baker and Murphy High School. Leeanne is currently the Assistant at Davidson and is very excited about being the Assistant Director for NWFI.
